Scientists @ school: Researchers from NaMLab take part in "Zukunftstag" at Emil-Fischer-Gymnasium
On January 29, 2026, the Emil-Fischer-Gymnasium (EFG) in Schwarzheide will hold its next event called "Zukunftstag" (Future Day). Scientists from NaMLab gGmbH Dresden where invited to join this big event. Zukunftstag at EFG is an annual career and study orientation event for students in grades 8 to 12, where they can gain insights into various professional fields by choosing individual lectures and workshops, with many external speakers from the fields of science, technology, medicine, social services, and the arts. Younger students (grades 5-7) usually go on excursions to extracurricular learning locations on this day. The TRR scientists Dr. Martin Knaut and Dr. Jens Trommer will give 2 talks titled „Atomic Layer Deposition – Atome stapeln für moderne Computerchips“ and „Wo steckt Physik im Smartphone? Wozu braucht man Halbleiter im Alltag?“
