BeWISE - Women in Science and Engineering 2026 @ TUD

For several years now, TU Dresden organizes a conference for Women in Science and Engineering - BeWISE. The three-day conference took place from 15-17 April 2026 in Dresden and offered various workshops and coaching opportunities. In discussions with successful female professors, female researchers learned more about their paths into academia. The conference aims at female researchers in the qualification phase of participating DFG-coordinated programs. For the first time this year, ten young scientists from our TRR joined the program.  

In order to give male researchers the opportunity to actively participate, for the first time this year, BeWISE offered a workshop specially designed for men on the third day of the conference. Three participants from Active-3D joined the males-only workshop.
