The IRTG puts a strong focus on professional development beyond the lab. Regular workshops and training sessions cover topics such as communication and presentation skills, good scientific practice, project management, leadership, and international and intercultural competence.
Workshops are offered as part of the Spring Workshop and the Retreat, led by external trainers. At the 2026 Spring Workshop, a session on goal setting and time management was delivered by Dr. Emma Geoffray.
Suggestions for future workshops are welcome and can be sent to the MGK/IRTG coordination at any time.
